I still think both BotW and TotK missed out by not having an armor set that grants Speed Boost. Listen, I know it would be OP, but I've thought of a few possibilities:
Roc's Feather
Roc's Cape
Roc's Boots
With all the pieces being a throwback to the items from the older games and the Set Bonus could be making you jump twice as high.
It would be based loosely on a Cavalier outfit (or think a Red Mage from Final Fantasy). It would be a new style for Link that we haven't seen yet, with one of those hats that has a big feather in it. The 'cape' could be coat with a cape, and the boots could have Pegasus wings on the top (or at the feet like Cardcaptor Sakura). I think the default color would be blue, but it doesn't matter because it would definitely be dyeable 😅.
OR a 'makeshift' set that's composed of:
Bunny Hood (from MM)
Roc's Cape
Pegasus Boots
I would wear them literally all the time, even if the defensive stats weren't as good.
-If Minish cap have a combo system-
After I realised just how many items these two had in common, I simply had to draw them, you know?
I just realized I never shared this one here... Minish cap Link with his roc’s cape, with Sky : The Children of The Light vibes Because the the cape remind me to each other and they basically have the same function.
Did some art for my ongoing Zelda fic! This is Minish, representing Minish Cap and (eventually) Four Swords in Close The Loop.
I still think both BotW and TotK missed out by not having an armor set that grants Haste. Listen, I know it would be OP, but I've thought of a few possibilities:
Roc's Feather (Link wears on a headpiece like a cutie)
Roc's Cape
Roc's Boots

The Roc’s cape, and the law of wings.
Since their earliest days, the Hyrulean royal family has always used the law to maintain their image of divinity. Most notably, during the age of prosperity and the force era, there was the law of wings.
“No person not of royal standing, whether citizen or visitor, may adorn themselves with feathers in clothing or accessory; only those with royal blood are worthy of such adornments, symbols of the loftwings and the gifts bestowed the royal family by the Goddess Hylia.”
The severity of punishments for failing to comply with this law varied depending on how many feathers were worn. While an exception was often made for a single feather in accordance with the Picori legends, often the wearing of multiple feathers resulted in multiple years of servitude or imprisonment. This could range from years counted on one hand to many decades.
Even more severe is said to be the punishment for a non-royal seen wearing a legendary Roc’s cape, though no one knows for sure what it entails. While there are no answers, there are many rumours. Some say execution, some say life in the dungeons, some say exile. None of these are the truth.
No one who has been arrested for wearing a Roc’s cape has ever been seen again.
In any case, such a thing has not happened in a very, very long time.
