Yeah I'm okay. Just had a few rough things happened in the last 3 weeks like:
Pre-existing burnout
Absolute software meltdown that effected hundreds of customers that we had to fix one-by-one for a week straight
Went from that into being on call for work's after hours.
Burnout greatly exacerbated
Got told "the landlords want to back back in." They bought the place 6 months ago and have never lived there. Bet they just wanna tear the place down and rebuild it into a townhouse like every other property on my street has gone through. I have till 12th Jan to find somewhere new.
I don't really have the money to move due to all the other debts I tried to sort out thinking (foolishly) I'd have stable housing.
I'm no longer on the NDIS due "because you don't meet the requirements for disability, early intervention." I've been diagnosed with hearing loss since I was 9 years old and I've had a hearing aid since I was 10yo. It means they will now give No Support (not that they actually provided any meaningful support anyway like PROVIDING THE AIDS FOR MY DISABILITY)
This is all compounded by all the other stressors of the holiday season + a poorly organised wedding for the 20th Dec (official invites have not even gone out yet so I don't know where (outside of my hometown 6hrs away) or when (outside the date)). I went to a wedding at the end of November where I had like 9 months notice to prepare for, much better and not in the fucking Christmas period!!!
Oh and I have another After Hours shift (they last a week) in the meantime and I am terrified of it ruining any progress I've made on recovering my energy.
I can feel my brain overloading with all this and needing a true rest (who the fuck knows when that'll happen). I try to sleep more to rest my beyond exhausted body and that doesn't help, just points out how fucked I am.
Some of the things to try and fix this are that I booked some house inspections today which has made me feel a bit better.
Next year, I will try to exercise more. Right now I can barely walk 500m without horrible fatigue. I'm also definitely getting some mental health therapy. There's so much internally that is tearing me apart and making all this even worse.
These "solutions" are all band-aid fixes though. I really need some systemic changes but I'll look into that when I'm out of crisis mode
