Rocks. Part of a 30 min draw-along for MLPDS from a couple months ago. Don’t recall if I continue working beyond 30 min. Anyway, was trying to wrap my head around the idea of getting the texture and feature through minimal graphite work. That stalagmite-ish thing on the right is supposed to be rock in front of another rock, but it kinda looks like a rock growing out or top of another rock.

Drawing Project; Development for “Walking for Walking’s Sake”

Rock prints and drawing is something I developed. I drew the rock it’s self, I wanted to draw something I could see and when drawing the industrial buildings that I had taken photos of it didn’t work the same as drawing more organic shapes.

Prints; I think the series of prints fading off works best. It shows a graduation and intricate detail makes you look in closer. I also like the prints on the different paper adds a difference between the prints which are similar.
