Today, the art bug is arguably taking over and we see this with more art and culture related events and activities in the metro, new art spaces, more exhibitions and collaborations with artists and artists groups. But with these exciting developments, the art community on the other hand is seemingly hit by a new obsession outside their field of expertise — their love for bikes.

ARTBike, an initiative started by Rock Drilon and now, with Jay Taruc, will take on the northern route around select galleries and museums around Manila aboard their bikes this coming October 24, Saturday.

The initiative is also in support of Firefly Brigade, a group respresented by artist Katti Sta. Ana.
