[OMEGA] Sanctuary Neighbourhood Besieged
via Omega News Net The Rock Gate sanctuary, located at the interface between station and asteroid, is currently under siege. Eyewitnesses claim to have seen numerous gunships and troop carriers converging towards the top of the station interior, with gunfire heard from within the arcology. Rock Gate’s claim to fame rests on its five-centuries-long history of being a sanctuary from debtors and other pursuers. The community is extremely well fortified, which lends to its being difficult to breach by force. Most recently it was besieged unsuccessfully by Cerberus, whose occupation was defeated before they made through all of Rock Gate’s blast doors. No clear reason has yet emerged to explain the current siege. What is known is that the attacking forces’ appearances do not match those of the Big Three. However, a persistent rumour claims that a burglar responsible for stealing a priceless H’tla painting some weeks ago is now residing within the Rock Gate, and the force is ostensibly attempting to apprehend said burglar
