2013 European music festivals you don't want to miss
Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, Germany (7th June - 9th June)
Germans love Rock and Roll, and this often sold out festival knows how to attract the big names. One of the unique characteristics of this festival are the event’s locations. Rock Am Ring takes place at the Nürburgring racetrack in the west of Germany while Rock im Park makes use of a football stadium in Bavaria.
So far the bands for 2013 have been confirmed as Green Day, Korn, Paramore, The Prodigy, A Day To Remember, Airbourne, Amon Amarth, Bad Religion, Boys Noize, Bring Me The Horizon, Broilers, Bullet For My Valentine, Casper, Cro, Fettes Brot, Five Finger Death Punch, Fritz Kalkbrenner, FUN., Kraftklub, Royal Republic, Seeed, Selig, Simple Plan, Sportfreunde Stiller, Stone Sour, The Wombats, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Tocotronic, and Volbeat.

The Festival Internacional de Benicássim, Spain (18th July to 21st July)
If camping, music, and the beach is your idea of a fun time then this festival might just be for you. Located between Barcelona and Valencia, this festival is different from other music festivals in that there is no sound restrictions and sometimes the music goes on until the early morning.
The line up for 2013 includes The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age, Dizzie Rascal and Kaiser Chiefs.

Roskilde European music festival, Denmark (29th June to 7th July)
One of the biggest in Europe, this festival is a great mix of music, 24 hour parties, and experimental art and design.
The 2013 line up will include Slipknot, Rihanna, Sigur Ros, Queens Of The Stone Age, C2C, When Saints Go Machine, Daedelus, Volbeat, Kvelertak, Goat, Disclosure, Baauer, Holy Other, Jam City, and Vatican Shadow.

Primavera Sound Barcelona, Spain (22nd May - 26th May)

Glastonbury Festival, UK Wed 26th - Sun 30th June
If you can get a ticket, then this is winning the festival jackpot. The line-up hasn't been released yet, but to give you an idea, headliners in the past have been Beyonce, Coldplay, U2, among others. Rumors for this year are saying Radiohead, The Rolling Stones and Lady Gaga.
