[News] The Twilight Sad veröffentlichen neue Single “Rats”

The Twilight Sad veröffentlicht kurz vor ihrer Europatour einen neuen Song! "Rats" hat es zwar damals nicht auf ihr aktuelles Album "It Won/t Be Like This All The Time" (18.01. auf Rock Action Records) geschafft, doch ist der Song alles andere als zweite Klasse. Mit der gewohnt druckvollen Art und Weise und einer mitreißenden Mischung aus Noise, Rock und Pop ist auch "Rats" ein energetischer Song, der Lust auf die Liveshows macht.

Zusammen mit dem ebenfalls in den Sessions zum aktuellen Album entstandenen Track "Public Housing" wird "Rats" als limitierte 7" im Dezember erscheinen.

Mogwai - 4 Satin EP⁠ ⁠ @mogwaiband @chemikalunderground⁠ ⁠ I have v mixed and v complicated feelings about everything Mogwai put out after Mr. Beast but the earliest days, especially through Rock Action and before, are some my favorite albums and EPs of all time. In my other life, I am a musician and I've put out post-rock and shoegazey albums. Almost everything I've ever attempted to write ended up sounding like something off of these early EPs (especially songs like Now You're Taken) because I really can't think of a band or stretch of discography that had more influence on my own songwriting than Mogwai during the glory years. I found a copy of this in the new arrivals bin at a record store in Portland and to date, it was one of the most exciting white-whale finds I've ever had, and I've been collecting for a lonnnng time.
