rocker627 you’re still hella rad, though.
rocker627 SO ARE YOU
15 and 20?
15. Name two pros and two cons of the program you use to make your graphics.I use Photoshop CS5 and two pros would probably be how clean and organised it is and how I can re-arrange the tabs according to my preferences, like putting actions into the left-hand sidebar etc. Two cons; I don't have 'convert to timeline' and I can't import video to frames. So I have another different way of gif-ing which is a tad bit lengthy.20. Advice you would give to beginner graphic makers
Start gathering resources; textures, psds, actions, fonts, gradients. Go to resource blogs, attempt the tutorials.
If learning how to gif, read all the different various gif tutorials that cover everything- from not having a 'convert to timeline' to having one. It's great to know everything in and out. Keep trying, the first gif you make is not going to be perfect.
Look out for great graphics or gifsets or photosets for inspiration; keep a track of them with a tag like 'insp' or something. Go through it when you need a new fresh idea.
You're trying to make a graphic but whatever you do/add looks terrible? Save a copy in PSD format (if you want) and close it. Relax, eat, watch a movie, then come back. Open a new document, start afresh.
You will become better. You have to keep making graphics, learn new techniques, new styles. Your work now may seem terrible but five months, one year, two years later you'll so how much you've improved. And that first graphic/gifset/photoset that hits more than 1k+ notes will be the best, and even more when your graphic making skills are going to be hella.
Doctor Who
THE OTP: DOCTOR X ROSE BUT MOSTLY TENTOO X ROSE BECAUSE CANON HAPPILY EVER AFTER
M/F OTP: Besides Doctor x Rose, Doctor x Charley.
M/M OTP: I have sooo many but they're mostly in Torchwood which I won't count, so I'm just gonna go with complicated/somewhat-one-sided-but-not-really Master/Doctor (which I could go on for eons about).
F/F OTP: Again, I have several in Torchwood, but in exclusively Doctor Who... oof, this one is hard, because I know I have at least one I like better than Jenny x Vastra, but I can't think of it. So I'm just gonna say Jenny x Vastra and be slightly mad at myself.
Fav Female: CHARLOTTE FUCKING ELSPETH POLLARD (sorry Donna and Martha and Lucie and Rose.Fav Male: Besides the Doctor, probably Rory.
Least Fav Female: Motherfucking Lady Christina Pissy French-speaking DouchecanoeLeast Fav Male: Rassilon *flames of fury pour out of my eyes*
Why I joined the fandom: Welp my cousin insisted I watch it and also my best friend sort of did and the first ep my cousin showed me was Smith and Jones and Martha was so beautiful and smart and the Doctor was so quirky and excitable and funny and I fell ass over teakettle for him. Today the stupid show has probably saved my life. It makes me realize that, even though I'm just a tiny speck in the universe, I could make such a huge difference potentially, and no one is ever unimportant. Wow that got sappy.
6. Can you do a split?7. How old were you when you learned how to ride a bike?8. How many oceans have you swam in?
6. Hell no, I can't even touch my toes! Short hamstrings run in the family.
7. That's a tough question. My dad tried teaching me between the ages 7-11 I think, but that ended rockily because I'd be riding fine and then start crashing into things and my dad thought I was doing it on purpose for attention when I was actually getting more comfortable on the bike and then crashing as a result lol. It ended in tears and with me resistant to ride. For a while my family did a thing where we biked to downtown and I think I did alright then. But last summer I got invited to ride to a bookstore and even though I hadn't ridden in a long time and I really didn't want to, I made myself go out of my comfort zone and let's just say the term "it's like riding a bike" didn't apply to me and it was very traumatic lol.
8. I think only the ocean around California, in the Pacific. I haven't been many places.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
