so i’m bored again so i’m adding to this for no reason
basically niki and jack were both part of the hero league but when it was put under new authority they were sort of outcasted. people didn’t like niki because she didn’t have full control over her powers and if she got felt too extreme of emotions she might accidentally start fires. people didn’t like jack because they thought his powers were weak and underestimated him. the catalyst of them leaving the league was when niki was hanging out with eret (one of the top hero’s) and ranting to him and she accidentally mostly blinded him with her power because she was so angry. the league didn’t believe her when she said it was an accident and fired her. jack, who she worked closely with, decided to leave as well. eret knew it was an accident and tried to convince the league to let her stay but they didn’t listen. also eret has sunglasses made by fundy that helps his vision a lot so he’s not completely blind
