Hey! Hey! I'm shocked I have readers in general. No matter what their ages are :P I just always assumed everyone who read my stuff would be younger than me for some reason. I think the media has warped my assumption of what a fan-girl is, since it threads a line making me assume that fan-girls can't be women above 13. 

It's sort of sad to know that men who are in their 30's or above, who are fans are a very documented thing, but women in media are presented as those who absolutely can't abide/find it childish etc. And by that it makes those of us involved and in a certain age group feel guilty for being involved with something like writing, drawing, whatever, because we assume we're too old for that kind of thing and it's only for 'hysterical youths waving around pictures'.
