All City: “Move On You” (1997)
Slick shit. Serious shit. It’s what came to mind when one of our backpacker dee-jays played this on WUSB’s overnights after the turn of the millennium. It has to be the Rufus & Chaka Khan “Live In Me” (’79) sampled by Rockwilder that makes the A-side real hot. It’s the set up for persistent pick-up artists J. Mega and (not the wrestler) Greg Valentine who have zero shame in dealing the entire deck of their fantasies. With lines like Mega’s “when I deposit, this live dick” and Valentine’s “I might lick the filing out the honeybun 'n spark it / put my sexual chocolate on the market”, you know to tuck the kids in because you know this isn’t PG time you’re listening to.
On a day like this but in 2004, Lil’ Kim and Rah Digga drops the Rockwilder Freestyle.
