[CDQ] Ringo Hiyori~The Wolf Whistling Song - ROCKY CHACK

Introduction

For anyone who wants, here’s the prompt I gave Crimson Wings guildies: “To start off with... WELL, LET'S GET DOWN TO THE BASICS TO DEFEAT THE HUNS! Tell us about your character! What are their favorite things, their least favorite things? How old are they? Have they been in any battle. Let's say we were meeting for the first time at Kit's Tavern Night, How would you introduce yourself?” Meet Kit! And feel free to do the prompt if you want, just tag me so I can see it :D

She was short, barely topping five feet, and pale, despite being in the sun a great deal... though her freckles were beginning to mesh with each other to give the illusion of a tan from far off, and had autumn orange hair that she kept long and braided now. Her eyes were much cheerier than others of her race and naturally green underneath the fel-tint. Her robes were worn with travel, and her feet were bare, rough and calloused, it seemed that this girl didn't believe in shoes. The cloak around her shoulders seemed bright, a magic aura surrounding it, and it was as colorful as the rainbow. The jade and garnet prayer beads marked her a priest of sorts, the golden crane symbol at the end of the chain marking her one for Chi-Ji, the silver crescent moon on her forehead marking her one for... Elune. Odd for a sin'dorei.

The youth entered the tavern like she owned the place, yet still as if she were seeing it for the first time, and didn't take a seat after speaking in hushed tones to the proprietor, instead taking a spot in the middle of the room and waving at coming guests with her spear leaning against her shoulder, yet still seeming ready for a fight. "Heya! I'm Kit!" she'd start, "Nice meetin' you, I bet we're goin' be great friends!" "So I guess you want t'hear about me, well, not much to tell. I grew up in the orphanage in Orgrimmar, and I pissed off the wrong person so I had a few curses thrown at me. I travel 'round plenty and have all these treasure maps, and I heal! Well... mostly I find lost things for money, but that all goes into the monthly Tavern Night I throw? What? Oh! You're in for a treat! My friends and family will be here soon, and it's been so long since I've seen them..." her voice trails off for a moment, then she shakes her head and perks up, "Lately I've been doing..." she brings up a hand to the side of her mouth as she departs the most confidential of information, "SECRET missions for the Cenarions and the Temple... I can get into the corrupted parts of Val'sharah and take out the bad plants and replant the good ones without the remnants of the Nightmare touching me. Don't know why it doesn't. Guess it figured I had enough cursing and corruption for a lifetime. I'm still under the effects of the last one Alandrine threw anyways." She looked to the door, "I really hope Daddy comes... I haven't seen my father in so long and I have so much to tell him..." she tilted her head and blinked, "Whaddya mean by that? No, I can't go and see him. Or anyone else. If I do, then bad..." she shook her head, "Doesn't matter, point is, it's just who I am t'go wanderin' 'bout everywhere. Life's too short to just stay in one place, and I may not have wings like a bird or dragon does, but I've got feet. Every day's a new adventure, right?" She grinned, "I'm glad I met you! I can tell we're goin' to be friends! Real good ones!"

Spice and Wolf II ED Creditless - Perfect World

Greetings on this random Wednesday morning in July. It’s been a good while so I suppose it’s time to plug some Rocky Chack again. Of course I seem to like the songs that are fairly hard to even find, but that makes this more fun than putting up Ringo Biyori, the obvious song most anime fans will recognize from the end of Spice and Wolf. Instead, let’s hear it for And You, a beautiful song that might be a B-side to something (I have no idea honestly). But yeah, I hope you all enjoy it and have a great midweek.

Here we are again. It’s Wednesday. Spring is in the air. And of course, being a resident of Nevada, to ring in this glorious season, it snowed! Something we didn’t see more than twice all winter. Hehe, such is the life of this state though.

But little life talk aside, welcome back to another day of music madness. Today we’re listening to a lovely little tune by one of the first groups I ever fell in love with because their music was featured as an OP or ED of a show. Rocky Chack is of course known for the two ending themes for Spice and Wolf, the first of which (Ringo Biyori) is still my favorite ending theme from an anime ever. Today though, I’d like to share another tune of theirs that I absolutely adore, Kimi to Boku. It’s just so light and peaceful. And that accordion just adds a nice touch to it all. So I hope you all enjoy it and of course, Happy Wednesday!
