There was this fic I read on Tumblr at one point; it was unfinished at the time, and I'd like to read the rest eventually, but I don't remember what it was called...and although I think you wrote it, I'm honestly not sure. Does this look familiar?

Roman and Patton were living in the same apartment building (maybe neighbors, maybe they lived together, pretty sure they didn't share a room), and Logan and Virgil were borrowers living in the walls. Logan got captured, and then Virgil got captured trying to rescue Logan, and they were being kept away from each other because...I think they thought Virgil would hurt Logan, but I'm not sure I understand that logic because it was based on his accidentally cutting Patton while trying to get the key to Logan's cage off his neck? Anyway, the last clear thing I remember is Virgil having a bit of a breakdown and repeating that his name was Virgil when he thought Patton was asleep, only to be startled by Patton saying "okay."

If this is your fic and it's still not done, I'm not telling you to finish it; I don't want to be one of Those People. Really, I'd just like to be reminded what its name is so I can read it again and see if there are more chapters since the last time. If it's not your fic, well...I'll be pleasantly surprised if you know what fic I'm describing anyway and can direct me to it, but it's also fine if you don't.

I saw a post about a lady in Scotland who knit herself a lace fence for her front garden, using modified curtain rods as knitting needles (and twine instead of yarn). And it made me think of LAOFT Virgil - could he, would he, weave a fence around an area?

this is essentially how virgil creates things like web hammocks so yeah he probably could!

I think the part I'm most curious about, is HOW do some people have superpowers? Has anyone determined this? In my Realm Of Logic storyverse everyone can do at least a little bit of what could be called magic (usually within certain rules of "magic-physics," although some people can bend or even break those rules; these individuals are comparable to superheroes), and the "how" of it all is understood, if not common knowledge (you know, it's there to look up but most people don't bother).

Hmm. It isn’t known in universe, but people have been studying it in recent years. Pretty much anyone could develop powers under the right conditions, but some people’s genes give them a higher chance of developing them. (In universe this is not known.)

Logan: both of those are valid possibilities, but aren’t the only ones. Perhaps they don’t know what food is.

I saw one of your posts where you declared some of your dragons various flavors of LGBT+ (dunno if you've done more than one, I only saw one), and it made me curious: since you can't assign two dragons of the same sex to a nest, does that mean you don't breed the dragons you've assigned homosexuality?

Well personally- breeding dragons for me doesn’t have any affect for my lore 99% of the time, so I don’t personally care too much about breeding any dragons that are gay.

Although that’s just me- some people might not be comfy with breeding their gay dragons? But I just think of breeding as a way to get money haha

I was thinking about telepathy, and then I was thinking about how most people think in concepts rather than words (writers show people "thinking in words," but that's a limit of the media usually), and I suddenly wondered if that made it obvious when Logan started hearing people's thoughts. According to the flashback chapter he can watch memories like little movies, since he "saw" Patton becoming two people.

Yeah. When he’s skimming, it’s stream of conscious thoughts. When he’s digging, he ‘sees’ it in more detail based on what they remember. Things can get fuzzy if he looks too far back.

(block Cass) Unicorns are celestials, right? Innately good creatures? I think it would be for the best if Wagon & Co. tried to reason with it, rather than fighting; they speak Celestial, Sylvan, and Elvish - anyone in the party know any of those languages? Even better if they're also good with Arcana, or the religions of this area (the better to figure out how to get on the unicorn's good side).

Logan: Yes, they can speak Sylvan, Celestial, as well as their own language. They also can use Telepathy within a certain distance to those who understand none of those languages as well.

Logan: Fortunately, I can speak Sylvan, so conversing with them in a way they understand will not be an issue. And of course, I (and hopefully my friends as well) want no fight with them as they are good-aligned creatures.
