Tim Borski - Fishing Artist/Wildlife Artist
Here is an example of Tim going outside fishing. Tim in recent years has taken an interest in other local fauna of the Florida Keys to include snakes and birds. This bird is Rod&Barrel’s very own spirit animal and logo silhouette, the Swallow-Tailed Kite that visits theFlorida Keys and south Florida in the spring and stays through the summer. Here too, Tim sticks to his signature style of getting a close up of the subject so much so that he cuts of part of the tail and the wing. The background is a unique one for Tim’s work since it involves floral and in quite of bit of detail and so divorcing his usual flat and colorful backgrounds that he uses for his fish subjects.

Game Drag Harness
I know there are a variety of ways to carry game out of the field. Personally, i’d like to pack it out on a pack horse led by the horse I am riding. But since i don’t have a horses or even a pack mule I have to rely on other means. Most of the time it seems the vehicle that delivered me to the hunting area be it a swamp buggy, pickup truck or SUV can get close enough to the kill to carry game. But there is the occasion where it is not possible for a car or truck to enter an area and then I have to rely on another means of carrying the kill of the field. I have seen various two wheeled carts but keeping it simple I like to use this Drag Harness. I will warn you though if you plan to use one of these you should be in good walking and stair stepping shape and at the very least weigh more than the game animal you plan to drag out. In my case I think I weighed twice the size of this doe so I am on diet as I write this.
