     🔥  ;;  »»  rodimus decided that the best course of action for this would be to get out his holoform, the hard light projection giving off any emotion that he felt for the kid.  and so, the holoform first placed a light kiss on daniel’s forehead, large grin crossing his face as he then proceeded to kneel down to properly reach for any other kisses.  with this, rodimus then placed another kiss on the kid’s nose, slight laughter emitting from him before giving him another kiss, this time to the cheek.

he ruffled daniel’s hair affectionately before taking the boy’s hand, methodically placing light kisses on his knuckles, and then his fingertips.  maybe that’d be enough for daniel to realize how much he actually meant to rodimus, as the holoform smiled before disappearing.  though, the captain then picked him up in his servos, laughing ever cheerfully before being very careful to give the kid a very light kiss to the forehead once again.
