Rodeo Vacation!!
After having a horrible cold and the last week and a half being a blur I was determined the kids would not have a crappy 4 days off school just laying around the house doing nothing. Yesterday was their first day off and they went to their cousins' house and hung out with them all morning & part of the afternoon while I helped Victoria give our nana a perm. Today we are meeting the same cousins at the mall and having lunch then going to see Kung Fu Panda 3. After the movie all the cousins are going to my Nana's house to see my niece and have dinner. (My niece is in foster care & gets to spend every other weekend with my grandparents; long story) After dinner the other cousins will get picked up but my girls are staying to spend the night with my niece. Then Saturday morning my dad is going over to my Nana's to take all 3 of his granddaughters out to breakfast. He's so excited. After breakfast they are going to hang out more and spend time with my niece & dad then I'll pick them up. They'll probably be exhausted so we'll just hang out & relax the rest of the day. Sunday my husband is taking them to do something fun. They don't know what it is yet so they're all excited with anticipation Then Monday back to school and when they go around the room asking what the kids did over break they'll have something better than "sat in my room on my laptop" to say.
