In Norse mythology (so its said in some refs), even the gods have temples they worship at. In the MCU or outside of it, who/what do you think Odin and Thor worship?

Ancestors, would be my guess. The first of the Aesir. Buri (Odin’s grandpa) was said to be the first of the gods, so he would be a likely pick. Sadly one of the worst offences in the Dark World was chopping their immortal race of gods off at the knees by giving them an expiration date. Thus making the traditional first god (Buri) not that old all things considered. But my answer’s still stands. Their ancestors, the ones that raised their race up to become what they are. They are from who the modern god seeks guidance.

True, but it’s still just too unrealistic for me. He hasn’t shown the same sort of trust in Zelena, and she’s family to him as well. They have him calling Gold “grandpa” casually even though he referred to Emma and Regina by their names when he was mildly irritated with them. 

Then a mere week or so (minus the 6 weeks of missing memories) after Gold had the author write a new book and tried to kill Henry, Henry is insisting he’s changed because his heart turned white and he hit a bear with a rock? It just really doesn’t make sense to me. If that’s all it takes, all Emma had to do was rescue the horse to be redeemed for all of her DO actions.

NAC - I imagine the reason why Henry takes Emma's moments of darkness so much worse than the others, is because he's *used*to* Regina's and Gold's going back on their words, and what they have been capable of...whereas with Emma, Henry trusted her from the start. So when Emma betrays his trust, that proverbial dagger's far sharper.

Yeah, I think he built her up as this pure “hero” over the past couple of years and so it’s harder for him to accept that she is capable of doing dark deeds. I totally get why he got so upset with her; what I don’t get is why he’s so quick to believe that Gold is this super good guy and even go as far as to call Belle.

NAC - I'm curious as to what sort of holidays were observed in the Enchanted Forest or other places. I worry that, if the scriptwriters mention it, it will be a thinly-disguised description of a realworld faith.

I feel like they’d throw balls for the changing of the seasons, and that the winter solstice would be like the Enchanted Forest’s version of Christmas. The vernal equinox would be a big spring festival to celebrate new life and new beginnings, while the autumnal equinox would celebrate harvest and change. I think the summer solstice would just be a fun time to celebrate the weather. 

I think there’d also be celebrations for the New Year and similar events.

Ooooh HARD QUESTION! I love all of the Marvel Asgardian gang very much for many reasons and so please do not take the order below to mean very much - Sif is always the fave but I love the other four about equally.Sif - because Sif is the very best always. I AM A REALLY HUGE SUCKER FOR WOMEN THAT DON’T TAKE SHIT AND PROVE THEMSELVES. Sif delights me because she comes across as unapologetically feminine even as she pushes against stereotype in other areas. She strikes me as not so much wanting to be one of the boys as to cut a corner out of their turf for herself. Frigga - because the woman that raised Thor and Loki (and also sometimes Odin) can only be the most badass around. I wish so so much that we’d seen more of her because I love all her interactions with everyone so much. I may also have a vast collection of headcanons to compensate for her minimal screen time.Loki - omg this messed up little bugger, I want to hug him but also slap him? (Does anyone else love Loki in that ‘omg you asshole’ way?) He is just endlessly entertaining to read and write about because he is unpredictable and complex and full of delightfully volatile feelings. I love him as a character even though I would not want to meet him for real.Thor - I would totes meet Thor for real. He seems like he would be a ton of fun! XD I love his character arc and the amount of bullshit and tragedy that weathers while still being able to pull out a smile and a damn to give about other people is just... augh! You go Thor.Fandrall - Idk what it is about Fandral in particular that appeals to me but he is my fave of the Three. He just seems the most fun and I love his attitude a lot. His interactions with Loki in Thor 2 made me grin. XDThaaank you for your ask!

Root. Not because of skills but because of personality. Root wouldn't hesitate to program something to kill. Hardison would.

This is true, on Root's side is that she really has no ethical boundaries. If her program ends up killing people it won't really have any affect on her. Hardison would hesitate and not go through with whatever the hack is.

Ooh! How about Hardison's rival: Chaos vs Root? (Root really is such a hacker name!) I can't remember how Hardison bested Chaos, was it because Hardison was the better hacker?

(as much as I love the Good Wife, the best hacker they have is Kalinda... who isn't a hacker...) I'm going with Root. In Mors, she and Jason talked about one of her viruses that seemed to eclipse Hardison's expertise.

Oh man, yeah, also I can't believe Kalinda doesn't have any contacts to, at least the police cyber unit or whatever their equivalent is! Or at least a hacker!

Seems Root's edging upwards in this battle!

if either of them tried to hack the other, i suspect neither would back down until either they're dragged away from the computer...or an AI intervenes.

I think I may go with dealanexmachina Root would have less moral compunction on her side to cause her to go a step farther than Hardison would have.  

Root is seriously scary!
