We hope you see the heart behind this. The laughter. The celebration. The love. The fact that we don’t walk on eggshells around each other because we genuinely appreciate your culture, your spirit, your families, your food, your music, your traditions, and the joy you bring into this world.

This wasn’t about politics. This wasn’t about division. This was about LOVE… and celebrating people we adore.

Different cultures, different backgrounds, different stories… that’s what makes this country grow and grow positively. That’s what makes life colorful. Beautiful. Loud. Passionate. ALIVE.

Thank you for EVERYTHING the Hispanic community has given us and continues to inspire us with every single day.

What an INCREDIBLE weekend at Bamboo Willies!!! WOW WOW WOW!!!! It was so great meeting so many new faces and people. We loved every minute of it! And all our classic Golden Peeps who made it to the party! WOOOOOOOO!!!

Some people talk about supporting music. Some people say they care about the band. And then there are people like Rod Saylor… who just quietly do it.

I want to take a minute and say thank you to someone who has invested so much of himself into this band and into so many other acts he plays with too. Not just talent. Not just time. But money, thought, effort, comfort, care, and the kind of support that shows up in a hundred little ways most people would never even think about.

Rod has a way of noticing things on his own. Little details that could make practice better. Things that could make a show run smoother. Something that could help all of us feel a little more comfortable, a little more prepared, a little more able to do what we came to do. And before anybody even has to ask, somehow he is already on it. That says a lot about a person.

He spends his own money. He gives his own time. He carries things because he believes in what we are building. And the wild part is… he never walks around needing credit for any of it. He never begs for praise. He never asks for a thank you. He just keeps rolling, keeps showing up, and keeps doing music for the right reasons. That means something to me.

Through thick and thin, through all the highs and lows that come with trying to keep music alive in a world that does not always make it easy, Rod has been steady. And I just think that kind of heart deserves to be acknowledged. So this is me acknowledging it.

Thank you, Rod. For your talent, your loyalty, your generosity, your thoughtfulness, and for all the things you do that people may not even realize you are doing. I see it. I appreciate it. And I am grateful for you.

Today is a special day. It’s the day before St. Patrick’s Day, and a perfect time to say thank you to the special Irish friends in our lives… like Rod Saylor.

I called him the other day in the cold, miserable rain and said, “You guessed it… we need another Only Talent – Buy The Record, Not The Bod shoot.” Mullet in hand, he showed up.

There we were, sliding around in the mud. It was gross. Wet. Cold. Definitely not glamorous. But somehow… we made it fun. We always do.

To everyone Irish out there today and tomorrow… this article is for you. It’s a quick read, but it hits home on a lot of levels.

Celebrate your parents and the job they did raising you. They did the best they knew how with the skills they had.

My mom’s family was right off the boat from Ireland. They did things a little differently… and I’m glad they did.

I’m glad Rod was raised the same way, to not waste, to reuse, and to repurpose. That spirit is part of what shapes our band into what it is today.
