1) If you could transplant yourself into any book you’ve read, what would it be?
Maren: I think this is the most difficult question on the list, and my responses will probably change as I read different books, but for today I'll say the hospital ward from It's Kind of A Funny Story because it seemed like such a place of healing for Craig, and I could use a little bit of that.
Nicole: I'm with M on this one, because of the book I'm reading I'm going to say the Argo II from Mark of Athena.
2) If you could travel to one place in the entire world, where would you go?
Maren: Right now, I'd probably say Montana to visit Nicole.
Nicole: Upstate NY. Or Illinois.
Maren: There's this place in my hometown called the Red Dove Tavern and they make the best food, the best cocktails, and have the best wine selection. It's also a nostalgia thing-- my parents took me there a lot, so I have fond memories.
Nicole: I'm with M on this one too. I love the Dove. Even if I don't go there for the food it's enough to go there for the specialty drinks.
4) What’s your worst fear?
Maren: HEIGHTS. *shudders*
Nicole: I think M is lying on this one because I've seen her freak over bats in our room. Mine is snakes. I can't even look at one on tv without getting nightmares.
5) You can only watch one Tv show for the rest of your life. Which one will it be?
Maren: Antiques Roadshow. I love the stories.
Nicole: Discovery Channel.
6) Have you ever broken any bones? If so, how?
Maren: I have broken both my wrists twice. Mostly because I fall down a lot. I was a clumsy child and I have grown into a clumsy adult. Once, I had both my wrists broken at the same time from two different falls. Sigh.
Nicole: Actually, no, but I did have a spinal fusion when I was 12.
7) Hoards of zombies are chasing you. Whats your preferred weapon?
Maren: A katana (Japanese samurai sword), a la Tom Imura from Rot & Ruin.
Nicole: Some sort of stick to beat them down with?
8) Would you rather be a cyborg or a werewolf?
Nicole: Werewolf, all the way.
9) You’re thrown into the Hunger Games. What’s your strategy?
Maren: Hmm... mix of Thresh and Foxface. I'd do what Thresh did first, running into my comfortable habitat, and making it work by myself for as long as I was able. Then I'd pull a Foxface and start following other tributes and yanking their food. I'd study up on my poisonous plants though.
Nicole: Hunt, hide, and let the others kill themselves off.
10) Would you rather be able to be invisible or be able to fly?
Maren: I'd rather be invisible. Please see my biggest fear (above).
Nicole: Invisibility, I think.
11) And the most pressing question of all: How many slices of meat do you put on your sandwich?
Maren: At least three. Otherwise the meat to bread ratio is all off. If the sandwich only consists of meat and bread, then probably up to five slices. If there are other things on the sandwich, not as much meat is required.
Nicole: Depends on the sandwich. You want the meat to bread ratio just right. If it's two normal slices of bread I'll typically go with two slices of meat (preferably turkey).
