❗️ for Jean in the OC ask game I haven't seen her in a while
Yay! Jean getting some love! (Sorry I haven't been posting about her)
Jean does not get afraid very easily. But the scariest moment in her life was Roger's biggest breakdown.
Her and LC were sitting at home, Jean at the dinner table drawing stuff and LC sitting across from her with the bills. LC was getting visibly upset but she kept it in so she wouldn't scare Jean. Then Roger came home.
He was not in the greatest mood and LC noticed and confronted him, murmuring to him about the papers and everything that were due soon. Jean wasn't really listening till all of a sudden Roger blew up. Roger does not get angry easily but he was that day. Not at LC or Jean, but about their situation. How his job was not giving him enough to provide for his family. How he couldn't give the woman he loved the life she deserved.
It turned into a yelling match of sorts over all sorts of things. That was the one time Jean felt pure terror. Both were relatively strong cats and Jean was afraid they would hurt each other. But eventually Roger just fell to his knees sobbing. LC ushered Jean to her room and went back out to talk to him. Jean was terrified that it was going to get worse. But it didn't. She could hear through the door Roger telling LC all about how much he loved them but he wasn't able to give them the life they deserved. Past that Jean decided to distract herself by listening to the sounds of the city.
A couple days later she was told that her and LC were going to move to America and Roger would try his best to get bigger jobs and give them a better life.
