Today I attended An Evening With Jeremy Brett’s Sherlock Holmes which was a wonderful event with Luke Barton reading an extract from the biography ‘Jeremy Brett IS Sherlock Holmes’ and Jonathan Goodwin performing as Brett’s Holmes. There was also a Q&A panel afterwards with Roger Johnson, Bonnie MacBird, Jay Ganguly, Maureen Whittaker, and Catherine Cooke

Other neighbors of Eileen and Cleo's, this time instead of living next door they live a few miles down the road.
The neighbors, named Roger and Janine Johnson, are professional dog breeders (responsible dog breeders, not puppy mill people) who raised an award-winning show dachshund named Long John Silver who is now retired and breeding with their female show dog Blue Bayou.
When Eileen was pregnant with Margot she saw the Johnsons made a Facebook post advertising that Long John and Blue had puppies so she convinced Cleo to buy one for Mona as a present, and that's how they got Jojo.
When they're not going to dog shows, Roger and Janine are very rugged and outdoorsy, fishing being a particular favorite hobby (Long John and Blue love accompanying them on their fishing trips too). They're both no-nonsense and tough as nails but still friendly people who love hanging out and have great senses of humor.
They also love their dogs like children and bring them with them almost everywhere (even when the Evergreens have block parties on their property the Johnsons bring their dogs, which is fun for Jojo since he gets to see his parents again).
