Oh my god, all of yours Victuuri fanfics are such a delight? I've already finished with Star Trek and School AUs and I am on a blink of rereading 0g even though it was just... a day? :) I did not give it a try earlier cause\, but what a fool I was. Seriously, your jokes are hilarious and characterizations are so on point and ones of my favorites :) And if you ever decide to give us a taste of this intergalactic pining when Victor was away for 5 years... <3

It’s not that I couldn’t function without you–– obviously I did–– but I don’t want to be out here if you’re not by my side.”

Yuuri’s heart aches.

He makes a decision.

“Marry me, then,” Yuuri says. He clasps Viktor’s hands in his. “Marry me. So, you know I’m always coming back to you.”

Oooh so many things to chose from so I'm torn. How about when he first saw Yuuri and what drew his attention to him, or when Yuuri first told him about the fellowship.

Congrats! I would love to read what Victor thinks their arrangement is. I'm not sure what scene to request because we don't really know what he's thinking, but I would love to read when he falls for Yuuri and what he thinks is going on between them.

CONGRATS!!! I would want to know what he's thinking when they're talking about Edinburgh and Yuuri's like "everyone will know I'm your..." And Viktor was like "My what?" >_O

So, thanks for the suggestions...I’m still considering.   There are things I CAN’T show yet for Reasons.  One of those reasons being I am planning to have some Viktor POV in a later chapter.  Anyway...

rogovich There was a jump chart in one of the magazines where skaters were mapped to the quads they are able to do (ofc, only V&Y for the flip). I could not find it quickly, but if I recall right it says that they are the only ones in universe.

Yes! Of the skaters featured in series, we definitely know they’re the only ones who can do it. But I feel like with the comments made in the series, it’s sort of implied they’re the only ones who do it period, even of retired skaters.

I have a feeling that I am stepping right into the DISCOURSE TM, but I cannot help myself. He is a teenager. He is Yura. He should be Yura for Yakov, he should be Yura for Victor. It is ridiculous that they use a full version of the name for a fifteen years old. Ofc, otherwise we would miss the entire ‘Yuri, your step sequences could be better" opening scene. No mix up with 'Yura’, no hurt feelings. Kubo et al. could even know this fact, but decided to skip on it.

I just wonder, why do you think that Svetlana and Ekaterina is old-timey Russian names? :)

Perhaps not old-timey as much as, um...stereotypical? It felt to me kind of like how it would be to name a Swedish boy Sven or a German girl Helga. Like, they’re very common and traditional names in those countries, but I felt like naming a character one of those names would look a bit like I just sat there and went “Oh, this character is Russian.” So like, lazy in a way I guess? I’m probably not explaining myself very well, but that was my thought process!

I was prompted by one of the asks to re-read the sex scene from the chapter 12 for the n-th time (the “There must be more that you want. Things you’ve done with your other lovers. All you have to do is ask" one), and just imagined the wild rumor mill among the skaters that Yuuri is into some heavy BDSM stuff (especially D), and Victor is just freaking out that Yuuri does not want this with him :)

omg can you imagine! Because Yuuri is so private I can just imagine all the rumours of all the weird kinky stuff he’s into behind closed doors!

OMG I totally agree with this! It was just completed recently and it really is fantastic. It is written really well and is so beautiful. Definitely has the emotional smut we love!!

Just want to second the Florentine recommendation. Just recently re read it in full. Beautiful and emotionally satisfying. Also contains Phichimetti which automatically makes any fic better in my book but ymmv. Also possessive Yuuri! Um. Anyway. Yes good read the thing!

Thanks everyone!!  I’m 10 chapters into Florentine and LOVING IT.  I’ll definitely finish it tonight and then be sad it’s over.  SO SO HOT.  

I haven’t read On the Edge of Paradise yet, I think it only has a few chapters so far?  I’m following SO MANY WIPs I try to wait until there’s a bit more for a proper binge.  

But by all means, rec me stuff you think I’d like.  Or stuff people who like my fics would like.  I enjoy the way people fall into groups within fandoms, who all like the same types of things.
