Scientist warned of infection, but dismissed as ‘conspiracy theorist’

Scientist E.V. Byron warned government officials about a new potential virus developing that could affect a great deal of the world's population. Why would she ring the alarm bells? Oh, perhaps because she used to be a part of the team that developed a specific brain hacking software.

Although Byron was one of the originators, she was eventually let go due to a "difference in vision". Mmm, I bet it had nothing to do with her fear of what could happen if the technology got into dangerous hands. 

Byron isn't just any old scientist. At the age of 12, she won a regional scientific competition and was admitted to Harvard at the age of 16. She then went onto MIT. While at MIT, she helped to develop several new technologies that could help humanity with future space travel.

Ever since the "brain software" was released to companies(mostly mobile and internet) Byron warned of the potential possibility of hackers using this technology for their own interests--whatever that might be. Call it common sense. If hackers could hack bank accounts, email, and other "private" data--why not this? Well it happened. Some genius found a way to hack that software on people's phones, causing the gradual downfall of civilization.

Byron is having the last laugh.
