Election Night

Was it even accurate to refer to this as election night? It was currently 3:37 AM. The finals numbers were being solidified, people were chatting—celebrating the election or surviving it... there was brief chatter about Genoa and what would become of Charlie, Will, and Mac... There was so much energy in the air.

That also included an engagement. Somewhere, in the midst of it all, Mac having not let go of Will’s hand if they were in fifty feet of each other—she finally looked down at her hand. “We’re engaged. This isn’t a delusion, is it?”
