i know the story of revan and bastila in general lines, BUT PLEASE MAKE A POST WHERE YOU EXPLAIN YOUR POINT OF VIEW I WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN
So, in one of my favorite, non-canonical Star Wars games, Knights of the Old Republic (KotOR) there are two characters, Bastila Shan and Darth Revan, after a conflict where they fight, Revan ends up with his memory wiped and with a Force bond (literally) with Bastila.
At the start, Bastila is really super good, but there’s a point where she’s captured (she’s actually captured a few times lol, but this time by Darth Malak, the main antagonist of the game) and tortured and ends up falling to the dark side of the Force (she already kind of has some inklings, depending on how you play the game--it’s old Bioware, so your choices impact the story), and her crush on the main character (who ends up being revealed to be the Sith Lord, Darth Revan) is also a source of conflict for her.
Eventually, (again, depending on how you play) you, as Darth Revan, go to save her by either bringing her back to the light with your love, or going down that dark side path. She and Revan fight when they’re confronted with each other and she insists she’s on the dark side to stay. She tries to convince Revan to turn back to the dark side (he’s light at this point, or not depending on how you play). She denies she’s in love with him (but she totally is). There’s a shitton of conflict until they meet again, fight, Bastila can’t beat Revan, he refuses her power, they use their Force Bond together, she realizes she loves him, renounces the dark side and then Revan goes to kill Malak (or they become dark side badasses together, depending on what you do). Basically.
The “canon” ending is the light side ending, but the visual parallels/story parallels have been there all along.
Oh, never MIND the shitton of visual parallels between Revan and Bastila and reylo. Like oh my god.

At any rate, I’ve had a super huge desire to see some Dark Rey action/double bladed light saber, so like I’m fucking jazzed.
