Sincerely excited for the Gondor folks to be throwing a Gondor Week soon. Of course, though, this leads me to wonder, where is the Rohan Week??? And, of course, the answer would seem to be, “if you want it, you’ll have to do it yourself.* Except I absolutely won’t do that because I don’t have the time to do it well.** So just know, dear reader, that every week is Rohan Week here in my heart and on my blog.
* If that’s wrong, please point me to it!!!
** Maybe next year? It does seem like a Rohan Week should cover late February to early March, which is when nearly all the hugely significant Rohan-centric events of LOTR take place — death of Théodred, healing of Théoden, Battle of Helm’s Deep, etc. I don’t know. I’ll think on it.
