ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਗਸਤ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮਿਆਂਮਾਰ ਦੇ ਰਖਾਇਨ ਸੂਬੇ ’ਚ ਰੋਹਿੰਗਿਆ ਮੁਸਲਮਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਸਲੀ ਸਫ਼ਾਇਆ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਣ ਲਈ 70 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਰਹਿੰਗੀਆਂ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਟੱਪ ਦੇ ਬੰਗਲਾਦੇਸ਼ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
