Once upon a time there was a precious little girl

Her mother died suddenly and her father ran far away

Her grandfather took care of her, teaching her all he knew

But he warned her

"Do not tell anyone of your talents."

"Lest you wish for the monsters to come and find us."

Frightened, the little girl obeyed for many years

Until one day she told the world

Trading her secrets for a glimmer of hope

The monsters came for them

They stole her grandfather

They forced her into silence

They stole her memories

So she was sent to a strange new home

She promised to be good

Promised to obey

This pleased the Princess
