small brain: there isn’t a lot of fan fiction for Within the Wires because it’s a relatively small fandom
normal brain: lesbian relationships are under represented in general media and this carries over into fan fiction
big brain: misogyny / internalized misogyny and the wish to avoid the stress and emotional tax of dealing with real world issues of sexism prevents women and lesbian relationships from being more represented in fan fiction
galaxy brain: Within the Wires is a flawless and perfect show and therefore has no void that needs to be filled by fan fiction
