The Gunslinger Review

I enjoyed Roland a lot but my most major complaint with the introduction is one simple thing, the first chapter is so damn slow. The first chapter is 70 pages and in the last 20 things start to actually happen. This was a great first start and I expect the series to be great. 8/10

I know a lot of people imagine Walter as being a filthy creature (he is, morally) but for The Gunslinger specifically I like to imagine him as actually being pristine 😭 Hair? shampooed and conditioned and freshly trimmed. Skin? Spotless and shaved. Like you put him next to Roland and Roland looks like a dog in comparison.

How does he accomplish this? He has hacks on.
