“Hey, uh, quick question: those papers in the Cortex weren’t important, right?” Ralph asked, pointing back to the Cortex. “Because I, uh—” he made a soft clicking noise with his tongue, “I might have spilled a little coffee on it.” A little might have been an understatement, but Ralph wasn’t about to confess just how much damage he did before he knew how angry someone would be about it.

Darkness. That was all Vanya felt as she started to come around from her comatose state. Everything seemed to spin, vague memories seeming to crop up out of nowhere, although she couldn’t tell how much of it was real. Had she really done so much damage? She’d blacked out before she could really see the damage of it all.

Eyes fluttering open, she immediately furrowed her brows, glancing at her surroundings. Wherever she expected to be, it wasn’t here. The space looked so much like her childhood bedroom, yet something wasn’t right. Could it all have been a dream? A sick twisted dream. But no, she realised, as she lifted her hand. No, this wasn’t a child’s hand. Everything she’d done had been real.

That was when Vanya became aware of a figure in the room, slightly distorted through her hazy vision. Focusing, she realised who it was, a grip of fear planting in her chest as her memories suddenly came flooding back to her. There was no way Five could be here for a good reason, not after what she’d done to them.

“Five.”

She tried to stand up, stumbling slightly as her head rushed, heart racing in chest. Her voice was full of desperation, the rage that had consumed her having left during her unconsciousness, replaced with crippling anxiety.

“Where are we?”

lifting her arms so he could see the paper takeaway bag in her hand a bright grin formed across warm sunny features. clear blue hues locked on him and without a second thought she had found herself with one arm slung around Barrys’ shoulder pulling him into a single arm yet tightly wrapped hug. her head pressing against him knocking her glasses slightly from her nose causing them to sit crooked on her face.  ❝ i come baring gifts of food. ❞

     SHE’D JUST WOKE, FREAKING OUT because the last she remembers is falling out of the sky with knives in her veins from kryptonite. however, when kara lays her wide blue eyes on her friend, barry, and she looks around and manages to calm herself down, the kryptonian realizes she’s in star labs on earth-1. and is then confused.     ❛  what happened ? how did i get here ?!  ❜
