and he deserves a hug. all the hugs in the world really.
He is genuinely one of my favourite youtubers and i dont think he gives himself enough credit for just being tom.

There is more to sex appeal than just measurements. I don't need a bedroom to prove my womanliness. I can covey just as much sex appeal, picking apples off a tree or standing in the rain.

You may add John Green to my list of inspirations and role models in the literary world.
The term role model generally means any "person who serves as an example, whose behaviour is emulated by others"
That's what Wikipedia has to say about the phrase "Role Model".
So why is Demi my role model? Because she is real. She isn't perfect, she never claimed to be. She as real as it gets. She is a person like any other, that struggles with self-hatred, body issues, self-harm issues... She went through hell and back - And look at her. she has scars and relapses, she has better days and worse. but she got up back on her own to feet and she's fighting every day.
She isn't fighting to fit in with all the thin ass girls out there, with all the girls that went through plastic surgery to look better, she's is fighting to be herself. she is fighting for us, the people that look up to her, and she's is telling us constantly to be ourselves. She's telling us to love who we are, as flawed as we might think we are.
I love her because she isn't selling us a lie, she is selling us raw and painful truths, but she is telling us a story of hope. She is working her ass off to show us, that things do get better.
I love her so much, because she has been through hell and back, but still stands tall, even when she falls every now and then, she stands right back up and fights.
Fights her inner demons, fights the paparazzi, fights the hatters, fights the perfect image of a Disney girl and fights herself every day.
She deserves happiness and I wish she finds that place one day... Even though happiness is a journey, not a destination, and I think she out of all people knows that the best.
I ADORE DEMI LOVATO! ♥
So today at the grocery story there was this girl, and she was talking all about Type 1 Diabetes. She was stopping people in the store and asking if they wanted to learn more about it. So when I get close enough she asked me:
Lady: Would you like to learn more about Type 1 Diabetes.
Me: No thanks you, I already know quite a lot
Lady: Oh, do you or someone in your family have it?
Me: Actually no, my favorite celebrity does, and he does a lot of things with it, letting people know it's something you can control, and helps kids struggling with it, and also does a lot of fundraising to help find a cure
Lady: That is a wonderful role model you have.
