I def think a community wide and maybe even on a larger scale than that
That we have issues with idolizing people
in this community we tend to idolize artists, ocs, someone with a large amount of money or good looks
And as someone who often gets tossed up there as myself or with doarch
I gotta say its a little uncomfortable
You get put on this platform and you have to keep up an image people dont care about any bad things you might do or what your ocs backstories are because their hot or your hot or talented or whatever
and its a lot of pressure because eventually you know you’re going to have to break that image, that someone is going to see past and find the man behind the curtain
and the whole community including myself has done it in some way or another
We have to remind ourselves that our favorites are still real people with problems and emotions and that our favorite ocs have backstories and they arent just eyecandy
its a problem we all need to work on really
