The Viewer AU

They must be horrified at the Forever 17 AU, I mean, a living human got into hell! And not yet ana adult! Though most people must be cooing at his fawn form

They are ABSOLUTELY cooing but since I'm imagining them seeing it as him getting his big breaks and running home and clearly a young human and then the portal and the imp and hell, the watchers know form the beginning that he's a human Alastor in Hell and they are HORRIFIED.

Then they see the full roleswap universe and this version of Charlie and learn WHY she is that way and every Lucifer there freezes when they learn that in this verse Lilith is DEAD.

How do everyone's attitudes around Alastor change in the roleswap au when they realize he's not a sinner? Does Charlie see him any differently?

I imagine their views change a lot - this is the first living human Charlie and Vaggie have met, the first non sinner Lucifer has seen in YEARS (depending on whether he can be summoned or not and whether people who summon him are always terrible) everyone is shocked - humans aren't supposed to end up in Hell without dying!

Shocked and horrified and desperate to get him back to earth where he belongs - even as he reveals the time travel/he hasn't aged this whole time his mother is dead everyone he knew is dead he CAN'T go home.

For the record, 21 yo drinking age was set in the state of Louisiana in around 1987 (1995 de facto), and before that, after 1933 it was 18. And before 1919 (start of Prohibition) there was no set drinking age limit. Therefore depending on when Forever 17 Alastor got to Hell, he could have had no drinking age limit, just one year (or less) away from reaching drinking age, or be 4 years away from reaching it

I generally have him born in 1900 and therefore be 17 in 1917, so I like the idea that he had actually been drinking some before that, he started at 16, and then he gets to literal hell and suddenly their are laws and he can't drink anymore? The fuck?

And also there's not cocaine in the soda anymore!

Where would Husk and Niffty be in this au?

Owned by Charlie? Would she have a reason to even as an Overlord?

Owned by Alastor? He doesn't seem the type.

I think Niffty and Husk were found by Alastor and brought in as hotel staff, because he is more organized then canon!Charlie, although I do like the idea of Charlie ending up with Husk's soul because they played a game and she won and now she has no idea what to do with him so she just leaves him be except for occasionally summoning him to serve her drinks (on the anniversary of her mom's death.)

Alastor found Niffty though. Absolutely, 100 percent, and they get along like a house on fire - ooh. Actually, the Upside Down music video had him find her when she was alive and helping her, maybe it was like that but in hell!

This version of Al is based on his character in the Black Gryphon song Upside Down right? Since he didnt start permanently smiling until after he killed his dad, but still smiled a lot, i bet being deprived of alcohol in this au is one of the few things that can make him stop smiling.

He is! And yes he smiles a lot but its way to try and keep his spirits up, not a defense mechanism he clings to even while breaking down.

He's so distressed by being banned from alcohol his ears and tail pop out and he starts making distressed fawn noises, which doesn't help his case.
