Thank you @bibbledoo for making this template. I saw it and just had to do it.
I want to add that the person who says, “I hurt and I don’t use it, so neither should you” is my 56-year-old mother, who has osteoarthritis and would really benefit from at least a cane. However, she says, and I quote, “If I ever need those things, you should just put me down” and “I would rather die than have to use something like that, even if I’m really old”. So yeah, I think, in a way, she’s telling me to go die
