Ok! So next tutorial! (SWIPE TO SEE THE FULL THING!) Now I wanna talk to y’all about step by step processes. Does it take time? YES. Is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY! The great thing is that while working step by step like this you can change little things as you go as opposed to doing it in one go. I like to block out my main shapes in my rough doodle, and then build on it when I get to the clean sketch phase. Then I lay the base colors and shadows. If I’m happy with how those look, I move on to adding darker shadows and lighting. And the great thing is I tweak it as I go! So don’t be afraid of changing it a bit from your original rough doodle! Also, with the last photo, the importance of using complementary colors IS KEY to making an appealing piece! I blend several colors sometimes to make the colors compliment each other. If you do that, your art will look more appealing to you and others! #art #art🎨 #artistsofinstagram #artistsoninstagram #myart #myart🎨 #originalart #originalcharacter #70sfashion #70sgirl #rollerblading #rollerbladequeen #70srollerskating #girlsinanimation #glitter #instaart #instaartist #illustration #butternutgouache #artoferinlefler
