Not sure how many people here know about a story I wrote waaaaay back before I even had this tumblr, (Rolling Storms - Don’t read it, it’s terrible and was my first attempt at long stories). Point is, the Twins befriended a woman named Shay, who is coming back in a later story of mine because rewriting the damn thing is too much work and it’s way more fun to stick their shenanigans in the much larger set of stories I’m working on later.
Anyways...... one of the Twins and Shay shenanigans.
Sideswipe: "I give you the gift of myrrh." in a strange accent.
Shay *having learned all she knows of memes from Sides and knows what's coming* "Why thank you."
"MUR-DER!"
She gives a fake gasp of surprise. Sunstreaker, who was chilling nearby, stands with a grin and finger guns them "Too late, you're both being mugged."
Shay whips a Reverse Uno card out of her back pocket. "Nope! You're being mugged and you're being murdered."
"You can't use one card for two people!" Sides argues.
Shay pulls out a second reverse uno from her pocket. Sunny starts cackling while Sides just looks so surprised and lost. "Why do you have two of those?!"
I just checked your ffn and saw that you're bringing Shay back after you finish your current au- and I have to say I'm super excited about it!! I loved reading about Shay's relationship with the Twins, it brought me back to when I was a kid watching the TF cartoons where human kids had their favourite autobot of the bunch who they were ride-or-die for. I have just one question- will the future fic be a continuation of Rolling Storms or an AU?
Thank you for the high praise. I'm pleasantly surprised by how well received Rolling Storms was, especially since I cringe whenever I go back to reread parts of it. From my view as an author, there are too many plot holes and my writing is much better now.
It will definitely be an AU. Shay and the Twins will still be the main characters but how the three meet and the plot will be very different. I had planned for it to be part of a long series spanning the war but I'm not sure if I have the energy to write the earlier stories so I might just start it on Earth with those three and leave everything else as referenced history. (maybe some oneshots...)
Either way, it'll be a good two years at least before I get to it because I really want to finish the Together AU Trilogy first. Thank you so much for reading my stories!
