Andrew Schoultz’s “Earth Vessel” at Volery Gallery.

Opening on May 27th, 2021 at Volery Gallery in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is artist Andrew Schoultz’s solo exhibition, “Earth Vessel.”

The exhibition presents a selection of all-new, previously unseen, original works for the artist's first representation in the Gulf region.

Schoultz has a visual approach to social and political commentary. His enormous murals, paintings, installations and sculptures are heavily patterned, creating an intense and mesmerizing vision of current events.

Founded in 2020 by Rom Levy, Volery Gallery promotes artists whose art is best described as the New Contemporary Wave. Established in Dubai, the gallery will feature the most prominent international artists. Through collaborations with various galleries and curators, Volery aims to offer the Middle East exposure to the latest happenings in the global contemporary art world.

Martin Whatson’s “REVIVE.”

Opening on Friday, September 29th, 2017 at an as-of-yet undisclosed location in Los Angeles, California is artist Martin Whatson’s solo exhibition entitled “REVIVE,” curated by Rom Levy of StreetArtNews.

As an internationally renowned street artist, Whatson’s brilliant use of explosive color against grey backgrounds constantly challenge viewer’s perceptions of the world around them.

The Dubai Street Museum.

The first phase of a brand new, large-scale art project entitled “Dubai Street Museum,” that saw an international roster of 12 artists create murals around Dubai, was recently completed through the support of Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office and Dubai Municipality.

Phase one of this undertaking was nicknamed “2nd of December Street” after the street the murals were created around and included prominent artists such as the German artist Case Maclaim, Lithuanian artist Ernest Zacharevic, French artist Julien Malland, also known as Seth, and Russian artist Julia Volchkova.

“2nd of December Street” was co-curated by Rom Levy of StreetArtNews and Sanaz Askari, founder of The Mine, an art gallery based in Dubai.

Other artists who participated in the project include Polish artist “1010,” Tunisian artist Mohammed Kilan, also known as “Inkman,” Chinese artist Hua Tunan, French artists Zepha, Kan and L’Atlas, as well as Norwegian artist Martin Whatson and UAE resident NA7T.
