Romance readers are notorious consumers of books, and for many the interest translates into attendance at romance conventions of all shapes, sizes, and locations.
I always wonder how much location has to do with convention attendance. For example, I’m planning to go to Booklovers Con next year. If it wasn’t in New Orleans, a city I’ve always wanted to visit, I might not be.
