HAWKEYE: Actions. Words are cheap to an assassin, and they've conditioned themselves not to believe anything anyone tells them. Soft touches, grandiose gestures, sex three times a week- it doesn't matter. Just the fact that you're doing things for them shows that you mean it. And that's hard for Hawkeye to get used to, very hard.
But when you finally breakthrough with Hawkeye and they finally begin to let their guard down, they're yours, wholly and completely.
What are the ros preferred love language (to give and receive)?

- Valerian’s love language is physical touch- Words are hard for the man, and he prefers to have MC close to him, enough to mindlessly reach out for their hand, stroke their arm, etc. Valerian melts at words of affirmation- getting praise isn’t something he hears very much, surprisingly enough. Hearing it from the MC is enough to have Valerian skip with every step.
- Peter’s love language are words of affirmation- where his best friend fails, Peter excels. Words hold lots of meaning to Peter, and they’re very powerful to him. Peter would praise the MC often, and mean every word with great sincerity. His preferred love language are acts of service- to do something for him simply because you love him enough to do so, makes his heart soar.
- Thane’s love language is time- Thane is not very good at physical touch or words of affirmation, but he can give time. Time to listen, time to talk, time to simply...exist, with the MC. He’ll give the MC their attention and time, always. Thane prefers physical touch as a love language. He’s sorely touch starved, and enjoys simple displays of affection like hand-holding. Hold the tall fish man’s hand, please.
- Sergio’s love language are acts of service- Coming from a man who, his entire life, had everything served to him on a silver platter, Sergio considers acts of service to be one of the highest forms of affection he can display. Cooking, cleaning (both are done rather poorly, but he truly tries), errands etc. Sergio prefers time as a love language. To have someone’s time to listen, to enjoy their presence with, is enough to have Sergio on cloud nine.
- Rosalie’s love language is time- She loves spending time with the people she loves. Rosalie can’t keep very good track of it- she often loses herself in projects, and despises being unable to be reliable, as she’s either early or late. But Rosalie, if she loves someone dearly, will make every effort to have time for them. She cares, and it’s a very big way she shows. Rosalie prefers words of affirmation. Praise from someone she admires and respects, like the MC, means the world to her. She believes what you say.
- Ophelia’s love language is physical touch- Though she’s a scholar, and by all accounts perfectly capable of finding the words to explain how she feels, Ophelia is ultimately someone who prefers raw passion. Words fail for her in that regard. Sure, they’re nice and pretty sounding, but nothing beats the display of hands intertwining, of kisses on the cheek. It’s a big way she shows she cares, and for Ophelia, she expects physical touch as a love language right back.
- Javier’s love language are acts of service- Javier enjoys being able to do things for the MC, and it gives him- in a lot of ways- comfort that he’s able to be “helpful” or “useful”. Javier enjoys physical touch as a love language, as action seems to speak louder than words for him. Hugging is his favorite.
- ????’s love language are words of affirmation- Physical touch and affection confuse ????, and while they can certainly come to enjoy things like hand holding and hugging, the thing ???? gets the most are words. They mean what they say very seriously, and expect this love language to be given back in turn. It’s the small things, like “you look nice today” or, “I like what you’re wearing” that can cause ???? metaphorical heart go doki doki.
