Sometimes, Zizhen got into moods. Typically he enjoyed their usual dynamic, and especially enjoyed pushing Lan Sizhui around into making him feel good, but at times he wanted something different. Sometimes, he wanted to command from afar, watching a show put on just for him and able to direct every move with his voice alone. 

When those times happened, they typically reached out. This time, they both had decided to approach Jin Ling and gained a positive response. Rules were laid out, times and dates determined, which led to where Lan Sizhui was now: between Jin Ling’s legs, keeping him held down while he licked and bit wherever he pleased, following Zizhen’s orders to the letter. Jin Ling had already complained more than once, attempting to push back, but was only met with Zizhen’s firm hand and Lan Sizhui’s eager tongue. He’d all but melted now, moaning and squirming as Lan Sizhui ate him out with everything he had, pulling back when Zizhen told him to.

Jin Ling yelled in frustration when he did. Zizhen grinned from where he was sitting, casually pleasuring himself while he watched Lan Sizhui be good for him, listening to every word. It wasn’t until Lan Sizhui pulled back to look that he realized he must have been stopped just before Jin Ling came, like he had been doing the entire night. There were tears escaping the corners of Jin Ling’s eyes and he was trembling, no longer trying to act proud like he had before. Lan Sizhui kissed one thigh to reassure him before swallowing him down when Zizhen told him to, humming happily when Jin Ling released into his mouth immediately.

One of Lan Sizhui’s favorite spots to be was between his lover’s legs. He enjoyed the closeness of it, the trust and the taste, the love and care that only he could give in this position. Zizhen loved it as well, often indulging Lan Sizhui whenever he wanted it, even to the point of growing sore. Perhaps that was one reason why he had pulled out a toy to use, one that was anything but unfamiliar to Lan Sizhui.

This one was blue, made specifically for Lan Sizhui, and he was intimately familiar with it. Zizhen was seated high on a comfortable seat, legs spread for Lan Sizhui to get between, and was holding the base steady with one hand. There was a look on his face that gave away just how powerful he felt - it consumed Lan Sizhui until he felt he might melt, trapped in a haze before he’d even gotten his mouth around Zizhen. He panted, his mouth wet with anticipation as he waited for Zizhen to finally tell him to move, and when he did Lan Sizhui wasted no time.

He went down as far as he could, tucking his teeth behind his lips as he pushed. Zizhen gripped his hair to guide him down the unforgiving silicone, the taste not quite pleasant but something that Lan Sizhui could ignore. Praise was whispered to him as he bobbed his head, pushing down further and further, able to smell just how wet Zizhen was as he gripped the thighs bracketing his head tightly. Lan Sizhui glanced up, eager to see just how good he was making his partner feel, and wasn’t disappointed by what he saw in the slightest.

Zizhen was easy to catch, almost like he was both expecting and awaiting it. Lan Sizhui wrapped an arm around his middle and pulled him close, until Zizhen’s back was flush to his front, and leaned down to press his face to the already exposed neck. It had been tempting him all day, and now that they were away from any prying eyes, Lan Sizhui prepared to indulge in the prize he’d caught.

He wasted no time sinking his teeth into Zizhen’s skin, biting a bit harshly than he usually would. He couldn’t help it - not when there were others that seemed to think they had the slightest chance to take what was his. Zizhen always wore his hair up, which would expose the bite-mark that Lan Sizhui left, which he kissed over to soothe any remaining pain. Though he had hardly flinched when he felt it, Zizhen didn’t deserve to be treated roughly unless he asked for it.

And oh, did he ask for it.

Ignoring the comment made about being so out in the open, Lan Sizhui landed another bite where he pleased, working his way up Zizhen’s jaw. There would be no hiding these marks or mistaking them, and therefore no way for anyone to think Zizhen anything but taken.

(modern au) Even if he tried to hide it, Ouyang Zizhen seemed to discover Lan Sizhui's sweet tooth early on. He then revealed his secret skills as one of the most incredible bakers that Lan Sizhui had ever met, and he was happy to taste anything that was brought to him (so long as it was vegetarian). Baked goods were always a guilty pleasure, but with Zizhen they were included in just about every meal. Zizhen quickly figured out that Lan Sizhui's favorites were small cakes with fruit fillings, which he happily kept in stock as a go-to treat whenever the sweet tooth struck. @forgotten-junior

◈ what was your muse's first impression of the other? how did it change over time?

Nothing but pleasant. Ouyang Zizhen had seemed nothing but capable and smart, if a bit eager to prove himself. Lan Sizhui found him easy to work and talk with, and even easier to develop a friendship. As the years passed and they grew from their junior disciple status, he only found all of Zizhen's qualities more impressive and admirable by the day. If anything, Lan Sizhui's impression only went from finding Zizhen a wonderful partner in nighthunting to an even more wonderful partner in life. @forgotten-junior

Lan Sizhui prefers to sleep cuddled close to his partner, wrapping them up in his arms or tucking close. Ouyang Zizhen prefers to sleep spooning his partner, holding them back-to-chest no matter if they're bigger or smaller than him. Lan Sizhui doesn't mind, eager to be wrapped up himself from time-to-time, but the nights where Zizhen curls against his side and lets himself be the one to be held instead are the nights he loves the most. @forgotten-junior

Lan Sizhui looked up from where he was tending to the fire, making sure it was kept big enough to last a good portion through the night. Ouyang Zizhen was the only one left awake, the other juniors that had come on this nighthunt all peacefully sleeping and awaiting their turn for watch duty. Despite offering to go first, Zizhen had kept Lan Sizhui company.

❝ Oh, thank you,❞ he replied, quickly looking back at the fire. His face felt flushed with the heat coming from standing so close. ❝ I think the same of you,❞ he added after a second, making sure to aim a smile Zizhen’s way.
