The Book of Sea Shells | | Kimaru & Theo
starter for @romancingtheskull
Hau’oli City, it was a place she lived in a long time ago. Kimaru really loved how she could always see the ocean, no matter where she was at. The smell of the sea and the cool breezes that blew in off the shoreline were her favorite things, and things she missed. Living in Ecruteak gave her a sense of spirit, something she was lacking in while she stayed in those stuffy big cities with her parents and older sisters.
Acting like a prim and proper lady was never something she liked, and being back to her hometown in a place where the sea was calling her from every direction…it was her favorite! As she wandered the streets of her former hometown, barefoot and staring at all the things that had changed and remained the same, she felt a little odd. She felt like she belonged here, but also like a foreigner. And it was a weird feeling.
Kimaru set her sights on just wandering around until she figured out what the strange feeling was. Her Spheal was tucked away happily in between her arms, hugging and cuddling the little ball Pokemon. But then she remembered she wanted to come here for those pretty seashell necklaces that she always wanted as a kid. So taking a detour to approach someone sitting nearby, looking like they were reading a pretty book. “Hi! Sorry to bother you and all but I’m looking for a shop that sells these really pretty seashell necklaces! Can you help me, please?”
Sweeping Skulls || Plumeria & Theo
@romancingtheskull
Skull was disbanded--for now, at least--but Po Town was still home to many former members. And that massive mansion so many called their place to sleep was always a mess. It had only gotten worse since the group’s shutdown, Plumeria was certain. And she couldn’t have her little sibs living like a pack of slobs, even if that’s what they pretended to pride themselves on.
So today she would head over there and help clean up the dump. As she always had. They’d fuck it up again in record time, of course, but she’d be damned if it wouldn’t be spotless when she was through with it. Minus the wall tags, of course. Those would have to stay.
What she wasn’t expecting on her way out the trailer door was to come face to face with one of her found family members. She always pretended Theo annoyed her, and he did a little sometimes, but her scowl was fake as she greeted him with a “Whaddaya want, kid? I’m busy.”
