🌟Muchos lo confunden con el Coliseo Romano, pero es el grandioso Coliseo de Pula, en CROACIA. Es uno de los seis anfiteatros más grandes que perduran hasta nuestros días. Ver esta estructura desde dentro puede hacerte imaginar a la multitud esperando que las jaulas se abran. No fue sino hasta el sigo V que el emperador Honorio prohibió las luchas de gladiadores. Luego en la Edad Media sirvió como un espacio para proteger el ganado y para eventuales torneos de los caballeros de la Orden de Malta. En las últimas fotos verás el hotel donde me quedé, el ParkPlazaHistria otra joya recomendable por las fenomenales vistas. También recomiendo no perderte el mercado de pescados y el "green market" de Pula, ambos llenos de exquisiteses y curiosidades. //🇬🇧ENG 🌟Many confuse it with the #RomanColosseum, but it is the great Colosseum in #Pula, #CROATIA. It is one of the six largest amphitheaters that remain to this day. Seeing this structure from the inside can make you imagine the crowd waiting for the cages to open. It was not until the 5th century that the emperor Honorius banned gladiatorial fights. Then in the Middle Ages it served as a space to protect livestock and for eventual tournaments of the knights of the Order of Malta. In the last photos you will see the hotel where I stayed, the ParkPlazaHistria another recommended jewel for the phenomenal views.
