Matcha Cookie woke up rather slowly. Rough, crumbly floor beneath her. Wind digging its way into her dough despite the hoodie she was wearing. The distant wail of something best left undisturbed.

She rubbed at her eyes, yawning, then shot up from where she was laying when she realized that this... was most definitely not Relly's bed.

This... was not the Castle at all.

Wuh-oh.

Shakily, the dragonet got to her feet and looked around. Wherever she was had quite a few dead bushes. Many dead bushes, actually. Nothing but dead bushes, really.

There was also a cave nearby. Was it a cave, or just a divot in the stone? The wind picked up, and Matcha found that she did not care either way. Anything even slightly out of the elements was better. Especially with the wails carried in the wind making her hair and fur stand on end.

Hurriedly, she shuffled into the cave. It was... dark. Unsurprising, really. She shouldn't have expected anything less.

Let's see... Ma taught me how to harness my magic, I should be able to... right..?

The dragonet concentrated, palms out in front of her as she pictured warmth and light like her Ma had told her. She peeked at her hands, expecting to see a small flame.

Instead, bioluminescent flowers greeted her.

Woah. I have... plant magic! Cool! But... I thought element magic was heresy... herdidy... hereditary! Yeah! But Ma doesn't use it, so how..?

She cocked her head at the flowers. Their gentle glow didn't flicker or change, nor did it provide answers. But she had light enough to see where she was going, now.

So... Matcha headed deeper into the caverns before her.

Eventually, the rocky stone and dead earth underneath Matcha begins to shift as slowly, they start to see signs of life. The rough and dry ground sprouting greenish-silvery colored grass. Then there was moss… and soon there was a soft warm breeze further ahead in the tunnel. Until finally, she ends up in an underground forest filled with tall, thick trees… it’s almost like a whole other world.. one that shouldn’t exist…. Yet this place felt comforting in some way..

White colored lilies started to bloom into a path deeper into this land… each with a faint, ethereal glow…
