(Remus laughs again, but you do see an angry eyebrow twitch in there somewhere,)

Remus: No he doesn’t! He’s just manipulating him! --Which I will kick his ass for, don’t get me wrong. I love my idiot brother~ 

Remus: Besides, they wouldn’t work together well~ I mean, Virgil’s a paranoid, self-serving, closed off freakshow, and Roman’s an attention-starved, innocent, arrogant prick! They’re going to butt heads constantly, Roman will start to worry that Virgil doesn’t really care about him when Virgil refuses to give Roman his undivided attention, and Virgil will take all of Roman’s instinctual insulting tirades personally, and kaboom~!

Remus: They’d go down in flames, even if they were actually trying~! And as much absolute violent fun that would be to witness, I’m not going to let my reformed-murderer best friend and insecure, unstable kid brother kill each other.

[Block Logan,Patton,Virgil] Roman... *sings 'Arcade' by Duncan Laurence' to him* Roman listen,whenever I hear this song I think about you and Virgil.Your love is like a losing game with him.And it hurts to see you trying to get closer to him.He isn't capable of love and you'll only hurt youself.Why don't you try with someone who actually cares about you?Like Logan or Patton?You deserve so much better than a Drow...he is just fuckin with your feelings...

(Roman hums along to the sad tune, but when it’s over, he smiles and laughs, not a care in the world)

Roman: A very good song~! ...But, I do not believe you. I’m certain he does care about me, and I am going to win this particular ‘game’~!

Roman: And, for what it’s worth, I do not appreciate you assuming that he is “not capable of love,” and “just fucking with my feelings.” Everyone is capable of love. It’s just that some people haven’t been shown enough themselves, and therefore don’t know how to deal with it, or show it to others.

(Roman thinks for a minute, looking very serious,)

Roman: ...I think Virgil is one of those people. He’s had such a hard life, and affection is like a foreign language to him... I want to help him learn it. --Even if that means we’ll never become more than friends! I want to see him smile without hiding it, help him get to a point where he’s comfortable doing that! I want to see him learn to trust the people he cares about, instead of obsessively shielding them from danger!

Roman: I won’t lie and say I’m not also quite taken with him myself, but more than that, I am a Suneite~! Seeing someone so afraid of love like that is painful for me, and I can’t help but ache to show him the care he’s been deprived of.
