i was just wondering how you plot and if you had nay tips

Happy STS! Thanks for the question! ✨

I answered this a little bit in this ask so please check it out! To expand on that answer a bit, I typically thrive on structure and tried-and-true plot arcs (such as the character's journey) to make a basic plot for my wips. I always make sure that my wips have a beginning, middle, and end to cover my bases and then I expand from there. I use a story structure with vague emotional prompts for every point in that plot arc that helps drive the narrative. I typically start a WIP knowing how I want it to end and beginning but it’s the middle that I usually flounder with. 

The best tips that I can give you are:

Use a story structure to build your plot/novel off

Find a notetaking or visualization method to write down all of your plot information (including subplots like romances, etc) to keep everything straight. (In that answered ask, I mentioned that I use three different methods for plotting which are story structure, scene cards, and a plotting spreadsheet)

Do as much research into your characters, setting, and situation as possible. That will help guide you in the plotting process. If you know as much about your world and your characters as possible, then plotting comes easily because you find problems in your world that your characters can solve.

it’s me again ahah,, just wanted to know what fountain pen/pen you use and how you were able to write the way you write with it 🖋🍂

you know you are always a pleasure! I always buy my pens from a small local store, they are very inexpensive (1-2usd), (also quality is often dependent on chance), though this oneʼs inscription says it is a Dikawen K8. there is a small chance it might be a replica though.

as to how I write, I donʼt have any rigorous technique, but I sometimes draw “guiding” lines on my paper—just diagonal pencil lines to help keep my slanted letters even. also I have learnt both the american/canadian way of holding a pen and the more traditional way, and I find I do not write very well with the former. this image is very close to how I hold a pen.
