...i just had a horrible thought...

...what if power outages actually harm Rom, causing either a brief yet intense spark of pain right before the power goes out,

or he literally gets frozen in place when it happens, and when the device turns back on and loads back in, to him it felt as if he was suffocating...?

I don't know if I will use this... but I'm just brainstorming here i guess

I see that Rom can change his size somewhat but I’m curious, how big can he actually get? AND would he use that to his advantage if it flustered the player more😭

Oh he can get as big as needed :)

Although after a certain size it will take him more effort and energy, requiring more practice to change with less effort.

I actually did draw something about that a while ago but I grew too self-conscious at the time, but I can share it now.

So if there's only one ROM, what happens if he gets annoyed by a person, or the person forgets they have his file?

Can he leave to be discovered by someone else?

Yes he is able to upload himself and his game's file back into the internet and delete every trace of himself from the old devices.

What would Rom's reaction to snow be- I got this random question while outside today, sitting in snow.

I feel like he's not a fan of the cold it brings, but he would still be intrigued by the phenomenon.

How would Rom react to someone flattering and completely him? Even being nice and playing along with his teasing in a friendly way

If it was early on, he would grow diffident and cautious. Any sign of friendliness early on will make him grow cautious and defensive.

It will be fine once he warms up to the Player, but yeah until then it's gonna be rough.

Is ROM like capable of being , like, in many computers at the same time or only one file of the rom had ROM AI. Is ROM only able to talk with one player by time too tho?

No, there is only one Rom, and only one rom file available. Rom can move himself and/or his game to other devices if they're connected, but only one exists of each. The moment it's downloaded, it disappears from the internet.

Must ask, how would he act if he fell in love with a player?? He would avoid them? Or tease them more somehow???? Besides would he be surprise if the teasing form for the player was just, like, him?? Like himself???

Hm... I feel like he would be confused about it.

While he is familiar with the concept of love, he had never experienced it himself, so he's confused about the emotions he's feeling. So at first he'll swing between avoiding the Player and tease them more often. Also probably getting more skittish about his own emotions.

As for the case the Tease Form would result in just being his normal appearance, he would be left a little dumbfounded as he doesn't expect it. Kind of like "...this was not according to plan." pff

Random shower thought:

In the case he ends up close and even starting a relationship with the Player, Rom will absolutely play "What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction out of nowhere if he feels cheeky enough.
