i think that there should be a phrase to describe scenarios where you hear a name for the first time and assume it must be a Glup Shitto situation -- that is, something "obviously" fictional -- only to then check Google and realise that no, that's just what they're actually called.
for example: you see a tumblr post that says something like "omg i love Romilly Lunge!" and think it must be the name of a character, but then you check IMDB or Wikipedia and it turns out that it's the actor.
