Especially when her search into their records show that one Anish Hassim and Avinash Hassim were brothers. Which begs the questions, why were they part of different packs? She doesn't have any desire to get involved between any family drama. So when she catches Avi leaving his date's side for the first time in a while, Riley takes her chance. "Hey, this is going to be a weird question, but I promise I'm not a creep. How well do you know that guy you were just talking to?" she asks, nodding in the direction where the man disappeared. Sure, that didn't sound creepy at all. She at least holds up a glass of champagne that she snagged from one of the servers in case it helps. / @romythorne

This is fun, but she's only human.

It's more evident now that Cam is a vampire, as they engage in their game of push and pull. It's unbelievably sexy, the way Elyse knows she's under his spell -- she wouldn't dream of not playing along, but she has no choice, really. When he commands, she answers. But he's not unreasonable. It's a long night, and they're just building up, working towards that first proper feed.

But for now, Elyse is taking a small break. She's touched up in the bathroom and has gone off to find a snack. Being a vampire's pet is thirsty work. Now that she's got a moment to herself, she looks around the place, taking in the sights, and --

"Omigod, Romy? What the hell are you doing here?" Just a week or two earlier, the other girl could barely bring herself to step into a very normal, very human adult store. And yeah, there aren't like, fuzzy handcuffs and suction-tipped dicks lining the walls of the Arts Center, but who knows what the night will hold when there's an open bar and witches, vampires, and werewolves running around. Elyse swans over to her friend and then quickly, quietly checks her over for bites, extra fur, or some crazy evil tattoo. "What, did someone order a pizza because the crudites weren't doing it for them?"

The young vampire exclaimed, clearly frustrated at the fact that she'd decided to mouth off to the wrong person in the bar, and he had to make sure the fucker didn't get close enough to do damage. Despite Cam's mentorship, despite the way in which she's managed to blend her supernatural knowledge with her artwork and find a modicum of hard-won success, Elyse still needs to sling kink gear to keep an apartment roof over her head.

It's fine, it's whatever. For every person who walks in giggling, blushing, terrified of the thought of instruments of sexual pleasure and deviancy, Elyse waits with a blasé attitude and a willingness to help make a sale so she can justify her paycheck. The stuff in Cam's dungeon would make even the hardcore horndogs in Eden's blush.
