the fourth closet is already a comedy in of itself but like can you imagine being these kids
like imagine you're like 6-8. or, in lisa's case, 3 years old. a new restaurant opens up in your town. the mascot walks into your yard and violently kidnaps you by her stomach splitting open and a big mechanical claw dragging you inside of her. you're stashed in a cold dark room with exposed pipes. occasionally the animatronic that kidnapped you comes in, drops off another traumatized child, leaves. at one point a big fox animatronic shows up and you think it's a toy so you try to play with it and it morphs itself into the fucking goddamn mangle so now you're double traumatized, every time you try to leave the mangle tries to kill you so that's fun
then the animatronic mascot shows up and drops off an unconscious fully-grown adult (well, from your perspective. she's only 18 but you're like 7 so you just assume 18yos are middle-aged). she wakes up and knows who you are and is eerily confident that she can fix this. she tells you she has been through this thing before which like. what. she does not elaborate. mangle shows up and kidnaps one of the group and leaves. immediately afterwards the adult's friends show up and they argue for like two minutes straight before they decide that one adult is going after the mangle-abducted kid and the rest of you are making a break for it. also the adults have magic earpieces that keep them from being seen by the animatronics but they only have two and theyre not giving them to you for some reason. you book it to the exit but you get chased by the mangle after it crashes through the ceiling and right before you reach the exit door you get bitten on the legs by these fucking clown robot bidybabs. the main adult you know takes off her earpiece and uses herself as a distraction so you can escape. you wait outside for her and she just shows up like it's nothing and takes you to the cops. later the fourth kid shows up and starts talking about a giant robotic amalgamation that a zombie tried to shove him into but the amalgamation took the zombie and walked them both into the furnace instead. also carlton remnant vaccine
and then you never get an explanation for any of this
